Our focus this month has been on love and generosity. We have been painting and decorating, and exploring ways to give to others. We've been singing seasonal songs, shaking our home-made bells and dancing. :) The Hand Wreaths turned out really cute and the salt dough ornaments were such a fun craft. Shhhhh they are a surprise! I really loved watching the older kids experiment with the straws in the sensory table.......I had not anticipated the many ways you could build with them! This month I had the privilege of watching as a toddler...brand new walker, mastered not only walking, but also doing this while managing to keep a toy helmet on his head!! Way to go!!
There have been some bright beautiful days to take walks and listen to the sounds of our little town. We've heard street cleaners, chainsaws, planes, and sirens! It has been frosty and snowy out there. We've had some great discussions about snowmen(Frosty) and about wearing warm coats, hats, mittens and boots...sure feels like winter. Warm home-made soup was so nice to come back to. :)
